People who can't drive, shouldn't. (my mom's new car got wrecked)

I was home at my parent's house on spring break. Thier lease on thier Toyota Sienna was almost up, so they were going to get a new car. I got an email from my mom on tuesday saying they bought a used accord. 2000, V6, Highest trim (EX or something), 26k miles. It seemed like a good, reliable car. Then yesterday someone broadsided her on the way to lunch. She'd had the car two days and it's probably totaled. My mom's alright but, I mean, she only had it 2 days.... argh...

Sorry to hear about the vehicle, but glad to hear that your Mom is OK. You only get one Mom 🙂 You can replace the vehicle. Give Mom a hug from me! *Calling my mom right now.....*

That's what insurance is for.

Cars can be replaced, she can't.

Don't sweat the car, Accords are easily replaced. Even V6 EX's.

Some people should be taken off the road for good. Example is the lady who almost totaled my sister's 3 month old Miata a few years ago. The lady had no insurance and a restricted liscense when she rear ended my sister. The police didn't even arrest her.
