People that complain about A&F clothing..

Anyone find it completely hypocritical when people complain A&F being racist, when they themselves are sporting Nike shoes, Reebok jackets, who enforce child labor in faraway countries for slave-like labor?

To them it's okay to ignore those practices, but when someone is accused of being racist, we should boycott them to all ends.

I don't boycott them because they are racist, i boycott them because i refuse to pay $40 for a t-shirt based on its label.

One could argue that if those children weren't employed by these companies, they will find other things, like drug trafficking and crime, to get involved in. Not my idea, just giving an alternative point of view.

Because people are afraid of getting black "leaders" like Jesse Jackson etc. on their backs. He likes to extort money from companies based on some perceived wrong to black people.

But I guess nobody gives two sh|ts about the South American and Asian kids working in sweat shops for 15 cents a day, because they don't have a voice to speak for them.

Fixed it for you.

Yeps. Anyway, I have the right to complain. I don't wear Nike or Reebok. Levi jeans and t-shirts mostly made locally. So I can whine all I want. However, it's not worth my time. People who wear A&F are just overly concerned about their appearance, IMO.

or because they sell shirts that look like they're 25 years old for $40

As you can tell, i'm a little out of the loop on the whole AF thing. Thanks...😉

i boycott them because i, being a straight male, can't seem to find any of their clothes to fit my style.

Exactly. The clothes are overpriced garbage.

People always need something to bitch about. If you don't care for the way I dress then I don't want anything to do with you.

maybe someone should complain that Sean John and Akademiks and other clothes like that are being racist against whites.

Yeah, I thought there was nothing terribly raciest about them, people need to remove that stick up there asses

People are concerned with looks. Why do women spend so much money on the facial cream, powders and the other stuff? Man I would not and do not spend all that money on my face. I use some anti-baterical face stuff in the shower that was about £3 or so and it lasts ages!

I don't wear A&F but I live in England. Anything more then £30 is too pricey for a t-shirt for my blood. Here in England everything is pricey 🙁. Glad I haven't bought anything in ages. 😀

Koing saving money.

I don't understand people that buy expensive brand name clothes, be they Gap, A&F or whatever other label is in vogue these days. I mean, they're all made in the same sweatshops by the same children. I mean, with brand names you're paying 4-6x the price simply to have the companies name on your clothes. How stupid is that?

I can't remeber the last time I "bought" a t-shirt.

But the well is running dry lately.

Well you do feel quality in nicer pair of jeans. I'll pay more for quality but I have my limits as I'm a student. Some of the jeans I've worn were *crap* and very thin in quality. Did not like that, colour also faded faster. £50-£75 for a pair of nice jeans is alright.

Not so in to brand names, just clothes that look right and have the quality. If it has that I may buy it if I need it.

Most won't fit my body either. I wear a medium-large in almost every other brand, but for AF I seem to be an XXL... or are the shirts supposed to be that tight? 😉

I do pickup some of their sweaters on sale for ~$15, and polo/rugby shirts for ~$12. If you look hard you can find decent deals.
