It matters in regular mail? I thought the USPS prefers all uppercase, but nobody does that and we all still get our mail.
If you address a letter to san antonio, tx it'll still get to San Antonio, TX.

one of our users the other day had a problem with his PC. I don't quite know what was happening (something with his mouse not working or pc locking up) but my boss somehow came to the conclusion that it was his wallpaper...![]()

No, I'm not joking. Although addresses are supposed to be in all uppercase, if you use lower case there are other rules where specific elements MUST be capitalized.
