Which goes to show you don't understand how racism works. "White Slurs" while technically racist don't carry any weight. History is what makes a racial slur truly racist.

well thats just wrong.

a slur is a wrong no matter if its degrading a black, Jew, white or whatever. Sure history has put more power behind some words then others but that does not make it OK to call other groups anything.

and its not history that makes a word racist. its racist that do.

I hear Jewed and heb once and a while and I live in Sherman Oaks CA a area with a lot of jews. Always used when getting ripped off "you just got jewed on that deal, he just hebed you". I had Jewish friends growing up, don?t ever remember hearing it till the last 6 or so years when I moved to where I live now, and I hear blacks and Persians saying it the most.

I used to use "gyp" as a kid. Never really thought about where it came from.

I've heard "Jewed" quite a bit as well, but honestly I've never used it. It was something common among elder people (the generation of my grandparents) in my area, so I'd hear it a lot. They'd say things like, "I'll Jew them down", etc.

People seemed to finally stop saying 'Gyped' (sp?) as it was deemed offensive.. I heard it much more as a kid, but its no longer PC. Have they not gotten the memo about 'Jewed'?
