I know this guy, and he simply "does not want" to do anything by himself.

NOT that he can't, or when given no choice.

BUT even if it's something as simple as walking to the store for a candy bar, he will impose on going with another person.

Is there some word for this behavior? Or is it just extreme "extrovert"

Will this go away when the person ages?

Psyche/Socio majors chime in.

:eek::hmm::hmm:

Probably an extreme extrovert, just as there are extreme introverts.

I'd only worry if he can't do something by himself.

When he goes take a dump, do you go with him, TP?

I knew this was going to be a question, which is why i didn't want to even come close to it giving my example..

But no. He does that on his own. :eek:

now, whether or not he "Wants" another person there... I honestly would say MAYBE :eek:

I know a LOT of people who are afraid of doing stuff by themselves in public. I just told an aquaintance that I go shopping by myself, and she was shocked. Holy shit, I go to movies and concerts by myself too!

Somewhere along the line, we're taught that you are a loser if you don't always have someone doing stuff with you.

Are you a male or female? Your examples matter more or less depending on your gender.

Edit: Poorly written. But do you get my drift?
