People doing "the wave" at sporting events...

I was part of a 10-15 minute wave while we were kicking the crap out of Nebraska in Columbia, MO. It was fun b/c we would all boo when it went through their tiny section. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaboooooooyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa was the way it kept going. Pretty funny, but I guess you'd have had to been there. 😉

Waves are fun. Especially at a concert when the band hasn't come on yet, cuz everyone around you (and maybe you too) is stoned.

"Hey! Let's start a wave!" "Whoa man, good idea!"

I now think they are stupid and I do not participate.

When I was younger I liked them.

I was at one of the first games to have a wave (according to some accounts): October 15, 1981 playoff game in Oakland between the A's and the Yankees.

When we whipped UCF's ass this fall we managed to get a wave going around half of Raymond James Stadium. Pretty fucking cool if you ask me 😛

Then some UCF guys got in a fight with some other USF guys (not us), and one dumbass managed to hit a girl FROM UCF. Everybody jumped him, even some alumni, from both schools; we're talking like 40-50 years old. Good times, good times.

Heh I once went to an IMAX theater with a group of friends, and we started the wave there before the movie started. It was great 🙂

Providing asshats don't throw stuff up in the air, I can't see why anyone would have a problem with them...
