LOL,people paying at least $50.00 to 75.00 over retail for a new PS2 over on the bay. And there's no shortage of units either, those profiteers stocked up.

I did a search for units that was limited to the next three hours, and came up with 94 systems, thats one auction for a PS2 ending every 1.91 minutes. Heh hee.....

Opps, sorry if I offended anyone buying one of these off of E-bay. Snicker.....

For some reason, there's a huge run on PS2s and Xboxs this Christmas. Probably due to the lowered price, but there arent many stores in NY (around the City) that have them in stock.

stock being the issue is hard to believe... it's friggin Christmas ! Surely Sony and MS have people in management who did their jobs...

I'd heard Sony was having factory issues . . . .

Every system we have in the warehouse at CC has a reservation tag on it, thats for sure.

It wasnt just warehouse issues, I guess boats have had problems getting through some canals.

from my knowledge the only system around my area that is hard to come by right now is the Nintendo DS.

I don't know though, i also did hear that the new slim ps2's are hard to find as well around here (DC Metro area), but wen I went to best buy the other day they had stacks of xbox sitting around. i didn't notice any ps2 systems, but then again i wasn't lookin in the ps2 area at all.

True. I work for an airline interior corporation who ships things out internationally every day. We've had to route our shipments through Vancouver B.C. due to LAX being juggernauted. They have a I think 30 ton overload of product going through there right now. They can't keep up.
