People at work who use excessive punctuation

HEY EVERYONE!!!! Time to get your "picks" in for the NCAA!!! Who will be this year's "big winner"??? Games start on Thursday... your "ENTRY FORM" has to get to me by 11 A.M.!!! NO "late" entries are allowed. "Good Luck" to all!!!

I notice this at my company as well.

They did not grow up using computers or email, and have no idea about email etiquette.
They still think it's neat that you can send a message to someone else without paying postage.

A pen pal of mine ends every sentence with about a dozen commas. I have no idea why. She's actually a very good speaker, but her emails make no sense even if you remove the ridiculous puntuation.

Of course, then there are those that accuse me of over-using punctuation. I think that the folks that have never been introduced to the comma are far more annoying than those that overuse punctuation.
