People are so dumb it's pathetic.

Reality check: They're worshipping a stain on concrete.

Besides, the fact that they're so willing to throw away common sense scares me. What if you have a bunch of holy rollers that want to steer this country down the wrong path because they aren't thinking? They're chasing a mirage, and that's dangerous.

Or maybe it isn't. Maybe this world has made a non-believer in you.... but you don't have to try to drag ppl down with you. Not that I see anything out of it, but I"m trying to give you another person's side.

Does this mean that if a boil on my ass represents a biblical figure then people will worship it?

I saw that on CNN last night.
It blew my mind. Everyone knows that worshipping grilled cheese sandwiches is where it's at.

I have always respected people's beliefs. I believe that anybody can do what they want as long as they don't hurt anybody else. They are not hurting anybody by looking at that stain, even though I may think they are retarted for thinking a stain is religious. To me, they are fishing for reasons to confirm their beliefs. Just like the aliens and God thread, there is no proof either way, so people take stuff and make their own interpretation to fit their needs.

Now these people may really believe that this is a sign. But do you really think that God would send us a message with a stain on an underpass?

God works in mysterious ways...

Maybe so, but we do not know....that is just an interpretation. Maybe you are right...who knows....it doesn't really matter. Either way, its kind of sad in my eyes when religion has done this to people. But as long as people are happy and not hurting anybody else, then there is no problem with me.

"We're treating this just like we treat any type of roadside memorial," said IDOT spokesman Mike Claffey. "We have no plans to clean this site."

Thought that said IDIOT spokesman when I first read it... haha
