I just spent 15 minutes dealing with a moron trying to figure out why his credit card kept getting declined. We went over his information in detail. I confirmed to him every bit of his billing information that he gave us after he entered it on the website.

He started getting pissed at me b/c Visa was declining his card! So i finally noticed, as he was yelling at me and telling me I'm incompetent, that he spelled his name wrong.

So I said, " Well, Stephen, I think Visa was expecting to see your named spelled correctly on your account and when the payment was submitted by Stehpen, they figured only a person committing fraud would spell the name incorrectly"

"I spelled it right! YOU changed it!!" Was his reply.

F-in people....

I get people like that a lot. What I LOVE about our phone system is I can play back any part of the call at any time :D People hate getting pwned, but it shuts them up so I can get to the next person.

thats hilarious, but I find it strange that an employer would allow you to do that. Only because in the business sense, proving the customer wrong is never a "good" idea.

I'm in management, so if I'm handling a call, I usually need proof to show our side. Otherwise we'd get screwed left and right. I mostly use it when people say "I NEVER said you could charge my credit card every month!" then I'll play back the conversation where the sales guys said "We'll charge you card every month, is that OK? Yea, sure!"

If you're a big enough ass to get passed to me, you're going down heheh (unless it's actually our fault, but that rarely happens).
