I think most of the women in that link are attractive (except the heavy ones). I don't mind some fur on the bush.

Kind of funny that the OP says backwards as in dated when in fact it is very modern phenomena to regard body hair as some kind of horror, especially a mans body hair or a womans pubic hair. When I was a kid fathers would tell their sons to eat their vegetables as they "will put hair on your chest".

America (mostly) does indeed have asinine beauty standards. We turn away half the work offered us because we refuse to stoop to some levels, like implants.

As a society we've sort of lost sight of "normal". We focus on extremes. And that goes for so many things that we do. Body image is one of them, and definitely one of the most self destructive.

People aren't satisfied with just being average and we've shifted our perceptions on what average really is.

It's cultural and generational. I bet if you started a poll asking men here if they preferred or did not prefer a woman to have pubes, then men over the 35-40 age range would say they preferred, and the men under that range would say they did not.

I want to think I am an open minded person, so I had my current gf grow her pubes out for a few weeks just to see what it looked like in person and what the experience was. I can now say with out a doubt, I prefer no hair or very minimal hair.. I gave both a try and I came up with a choice based in reason & experience. I'm sure if 99% of the girls I was with had bush, then I'd prefer that because I was used to it, saw it in movies/pr0n, etc. Except in my case, I gave both a try and still concluded I prefer a smooth, hairless vagina.

I think you lost the argument when you first decided to find standard in a topic that's completely relative. Nobody can be wrong, nobody can be right. It's all relative, man.

The argument isn't about preferences - it is fine to say - hey - personally it is my taste to have women hairless/non-hair / fit or fat (my brother prefers fat women it is strange)... it is completely different to start saying "You need to buy a razor" "God - that's disgusting" "Those women are all ugly" etc etc - as the comments on the article go into and on the facebook post where this started from - this forum has brought me some relief from people not seeing the difference.

Not including this guy:
Oh, and the people on that page are absolutely hideous, wish I hadn't seen any of them

They are average women... you have not seen hideous

i'm guessing trimming is driven by oral.

Except I do not see it becoming fashion for men to shave their balls... or women ranting all over the internet about men being completely disgusting and having no hygiene and needing to buy a razor because they didn't trim/shave down there... see what I'm getting at yet?

Kind of funny that the OP says backwards as in dated when in fact it is very modern phenomena to regard body hair as some kind of horror, especially a mans body hair or a womans pubic hair. When I was a kid fathers would tell their sons to eat their vegetables as they "will put hair on your chest"

I'm not good at making titles and names for things - I was very poor at it in English class too.

Why is NSFW still not in the title, wasn't fun opening this is front of upper management.

Their pretty much opinions, Rakh states everything that comes out of his mouth like divine wisdom. I don't see how this is any different.

Personally I think she is trying to tell us that the average woman is ugly. Uglier in her anandtech posture. Perhaps this comes from personal experience. ^.^

I always knew I was a troll but I never knew I was the fuel for flame wars.

Anyway beauty isn't just looks, when you love something it looks pretty, maybe even for a long time. I dated froto once. Got some of the best boners of my life.

While I agree that there should have been a warning, what are you doing clicking random links in front of upper management?

Why.. because I have not yet figured out how to change said title... they didn't leave instructions.

I don't think people take the time to read what I wrote in regards to it... just go and click on the link to the nude pictures... the issue isn't whether they are/are not attractive to you... or whether you prefer women's vaginas shaved or not... the issue is with the people in the comments... the people who are saying: "These women are disgusting" "have they never heard of a razor?" - over just saying they don't prefer things that way... like they have some obligation to shave or change their looks - and how these comments have basically made the message the photographer was trying to get across (to be accepting of our bodies - which a lot of poor posture comes from inadequate confidence) null and void - instead creating the exact opposite ... the people on facebook thought posting the link was "funny" and they thought their comments "funny" to say the same things... apparently - I ruin humor.

Yes, their people's opinions. People have stupid opinions and people say and do stupid things, people are stupid.

Quit being upset ():).

Quit being upset .

NO! :colbert: You can't make me! :p

... people are stupid... and no - the way they are using words makes it bullying and mean - not opinions... the people on this forum have been making opinions... it actually calmed me down a bit to realize the whole world wasn't full of the other types (majority of commentators on the linked page and facebook).

... as for opening the link in front of management - I had written right below it that it contained nudity...

Of course they're pretty OP; so long as they don't have pointy elbows.

It is bullying but people are stupid. They probably think it's opinion. Or in Rakh's case, fact. Why you mad.

There was a giant paragraph of what seemed like opinion before the link, so instead of reading that I clicked on the link first.
