Does anyone know if there are motherboards that support the Pentium IV processor? I just noticed that Pricewatch lists them now and havent seen any PIV news yet.
 
supposedly there are no boards ready yet, not till mid to late this month anyway... thats what i've been seeing from tech sites...
 
Thanks for the reply Supradude.. 🙂 The processors are a bit too rich for me right now anyway, but I was wondering what kind of support was availiable since the processors are already avaliable.. Those 1.5 and 1.4 GHZ base speeds sure look sweet.. 🙂
 
It is nice eye-candy, but best to wait and see if the platforms that show up are stable. From what I've seen on benchmarks, the clock is screaming but the rest of the chip is stuck in second gear.
 
🙂 I couldn't help but add to this/lol.... I for 1 wouldn't buy the Original stepping from Intel, sorta like buying a Prototype vid card/ without any drivers......😀
