I was eyeballing that CPU just a few days ago but decided to go with the i3 4330 for $125, the value sure is in this G3220 though.

Looking at the price chart for the G3220 at PCPartPicker, I would expect the price to remain at $60 (also at Amazon) for a few more days. (No guarantees if you miss it, though.) That's the typical in-store price at Microcenter, too. It's just a little more at a couple of other places.

But an H87 motherboard for $40 was certainly unusual, AFAIK! An MSI H81 motherboard is also $40 (after $5 rebate), and has been even cheaper.

pity there isn't a mitx or itx mboard for $40. Cheapest I can find is h81 for $64. price/power that cpu is fantastic esp for a simple web/mail machine for the parents.
