Ehh, the Hyperthreading on the i7 can be worthwhile if heavy encoding and 3d rendering is your thing (in my case, Hyperthreading speeds up renders by roughly 30%). For gaming or anything else like web surfing, not really.The more I think about it, the more I agree with this. I wouldn't hold a similar view with laptops because the nature of the use is different, but for desktops, this isn't a bad philosophy at all.
