Pentium D temps way too high.

I managed to get my PentiumD 820 up to 3.9 with the reference intel HSF

Runs at a cool 68 degreesC on idle

Then you are guranteed to be throttling..my 830 is running at 47c, but it's water cooled..and won't overclock at all, windows won't boot at 3.1ghz.

I must be I should be getting water cooling soon so I might aim higher

i have the same p-d it runs alot colder dont use a normal heatsink use this <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbar...t/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835103164</a> it runs at like 30-42c i also threw a pci fan right below it....................very easy to install
