Does Anyone know what the average or optimal Temperature for PENTIUM D Processors should be for
Pentium D 805 (2.66GHz)
Pentium D 820 (2.8GHz)
Pentium D 830 (3.0GHz)
D 840 (3.2GHz)

Coz my 820 is running close to 70 degrees.. is that normal?

70C idle or full load?

That's definitely hot even for these processors. You should be closer to 50-55C on air tops.

With stock (and AS5) I'd say idle is ~45-50C, I'd put load closer to ~60-65C. Those where my findings.
