Pentium D 930

What are your opinions on the Pentium D 930? I am considering a new system, but I am a little leery of jumping on the C-2-D bandwagon with the quads right around the corner.
No games, some video capturing and editing, but mostly just routine home-use stuff. Expect to run Vista on this system eventually.

i would really just get a conroe. a 6300 can be had for under $200 and could be easily resold when the quads come out.

Unless of course you are on a strict budget, then one of the lower Pentium D's would be ok for you.

No pentium D is a good choice.... Get a 6300 or an X2 3800 AMD.

For the price of a Pentium D 930 you should just put in another $20-30 and get a E6300.
