I have a Pentium D 830 which I had water cooled from the begining. It has run hot even with watercooling, usually 40-50C. I decided to put an air cooler on last night and now the temps are in the high 60's when stressed.

I probably should have just RMA'd it in the begning but it is too late now. I am going to put the waterblock back on, but does anyone have suggestions on how to bring temps down?

My current system is a radiator with a 120mm fan and then a passive tower. Both do get quite warm so I do know they are doing their jobs.

Bring the overclocking down a little if you are running hot. Turn down the Volts.
