pentium 4 voltages what to use?

i have a pentium 4 2.8 @ 3.080 ghz right now using default 1.60v.
should i lower it to like 1.55v or 1.525v?
what voltages to use for Corsair XMS 1024LL? i heard these use alot of voltage, should i up it to 2.85v?
what is your pentium 4 overclock voltages, and ram voltages? please help thanks.

it's weird, i put the voltage at 1.525v in Asus P4C800-E motherboard but CPU-Z still shows voltage 1.6v and Asus Probe (mobo monitor) shows it at 1.6 also. I try to use 240fsb x 14 to get 2.8 at 3.3 but it won't even boot into windows. Anyone know what could be a problem? i had ram at SPD then at 2.5-3-3-6 then 7,8. My memory at 5:4, 2.85v. Right now i'm at 2.8 @ 3220. what is spread spectrum? should i disable it?

What are your ram timings settings shady?
 
Daniel, just keep your vcore where it is for now, give your ram 2.8v, and use a 5:4 cpu to ram ratio. That's pretty much all you need to know.

That's because most Asus boards overvolt, my P4PE does the same thing. Some motherboards overvolt and some undervolt, it's pretty rare to find a motherboard that has the same exact voltages as what was set in the bios. I wouldn't go any higher than 1.65 volts actual though (as in what your asus probe tells you).

I hit 3.36 GHz!! 😛 (14 x 240 fsb) with memory at 2-3-2-6, burst length - 4, 5:4 ratio. 2.85v. vcore at 1.6v in BIOS but shows (1.66v in Asus PC Probe and CPU-Z). How would I test this for stability and burn in? I don't plan to keep it at this speed until better cooling is installed (Thermalright SP94 w/ Panaflow + NB fan). 40-50C CPU temp using Thermaltake Spark 7. Need tips.
