List your motherboard, power supply, and memory brand and type. All figure in successful overclocking.

nope, ur wrong there is a 1.6 and 1.8, refered to 1.6a, they are northowwds..

the 1.6a is a renowned overclocker..

ok heres what to do.

reboot ur comp, when booting, enter bios (usually press delete, or f2 key repeatedly)

ull be presented with a blue screen prob, locate a section that has FSB, or Front side bus, and which displays 100mhz.. also there hopefully is a PCI/AGP lock, otherwise your overclock maybe slightly risky,
anyhow, increase the fsb incrementially, and when u can no longer boot stabley into windows, back down..

if u screw up and ur comp wont turn on properly, turn off comp , remove power connector, and open the case. Look for a little round battery on the motherboard, and remove it. After 5-10 mins put it back in, and the bios should go back to default settings.

good luck@

yea I got mine to 2.33 MHz(almost 50%). I run a 145 front side bus (FSB). Your memory is going to limit you though.
