After running through a series of crappy point-and-shoots, my father is finally considering a digital SLR. He already owns many hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars worth of high-end K- and MX-series lenses for his prized old Pentax 35mm SLR, and would like to keep using them.
My only question is whether the Pentax K200d's onboard image stabilization is compatible with his vintage lenses. My dad is convinced that a good image stabilization function will remove the need to schlep around a tripod, and his limited budget means he can only afford a refurbished camera body, sans lens.
