pent III coppermine. how do I know??????

I need to buy a Pent III slot 1 500MHz cpu. It can not be a coppermine. How do I tell the differnce.😕

There are only two types of P3's, the earlier Katmai's and the later Coppermines. See this.

The 500 MHz Katmai's, which I guess is the kind you want, can be id'd as follows:

If I`m not mistaken the non-coppermine`s your wanting can be identified by this Link all the ones with 512K cache are the older Katmai??? chips and are slot 1 cpu`s...
