big f*cking YAY. You try and write a comic weekly and see if you are always funny. The amount of gold to duds is fine with me.
 
meh, i'll say nay cuz they release good comics like once a month.. but their review on games are pretty good
 
I think Penny Arcade started to go downhill a little when their comics began to rely too much on detailed knowledge of what was going on in the videogame industry. Huge chunks of the recent ones are just them bitching about a certain part of a recent game. I also don't like the new font they use.

That said, almost all of the old ones are absolute gems, and every so often they come out with new ones that you don't have to be John Romero to understand.

You can't look at classics like 'Manwich', 'Hell's fishes' and 'Don't hate me because I'm beautiful' and say it's not funny 😛

The Bench was also an under-appreciated gem.
