Pennsylvania People: New emissions test for automobiles? What does this mean?

If you live here I'm sure you've heard this is upcoming... what exactly is involved, and what needs to be met to pass?

Is it similar to CA's emissions standards?
 
I think the big thing is to be sure that the emission equipment is still installed on the car. Most of the big cities in PA already have testing, this pertains to the more rural sections of PA. At least thats the way I understood it anyhow. Will find out soon, car needs inspected this month.

Being in Altoona you will have a Visual check and a gas cap check, but thats it the site explains what they are. I only have to have a Visual check,yippe. Now if you live in Pittsburg or Philly well good luck to you.
