What are you talking about??? Vanilla Sky is an outstanding movie with a great cast. You might need to see it again to catch all of the details.

that movie is a remake of a spanish movie i saw on showtime once. Plus Penelope Cruz is not that hot.

Not a very good remake. Buy the original instead. Tom Cruise makes me gag but regardless of him the original is better.

If this movie doesn't make you think about life then you should stick to Hollywood action movies and Big Macs.

after that, its all dream until the "open your eyes" right before the credits.

Uh... spoiler for anyone that hasnt seen it that wants too.... Anyway, they explain everything at the end when he's talking to tech support. The dream begins after the party where he gets wasted and collapses on the street.

Penelope Cruz is alright, she's a bit over rated. I like Tom Cruise as an actor, especially after this and Minority Report.

IMO tech support was just part of his dream while he was in a coma after the accident.

i guess this movie is open to different interpretations, and it was purposefully made that way

Ah well, since it's already been spoiled...

I hate movies that end up being a dream. I always feel ripped off cuz it didn't happen! Yeah yeah, it's a movie so nothing in it _really_ happened but I always felt it was a cop-out. Imagine how I felt at the end of Monkey Island 2...

Oh yeah, I'm not a big fan of Penelope Cruz either. Decent body, but her face does nothing for me. I'd take Britney Spears or Nicole Kidman over her.

I think this movie is beyond your typical "its just a dream" movie. Not as well done as Total Recall, which keeps you wondering and guessing even when the movie ends. But during the "Dream" parts, there are so many things that make you think "WTF?" that makes it interesting.

Nicole Kidman looks classically beautiful if you know what I mean, but not really sexy, you know the type of girl who when you see her you just want to..... you get my drift. :)

I rented this last week and it's a good movie and Penelope Cruz is smoking hot.
It's worth $7.99 just to see her boobies :D

Now, you don't know this for sure. When he wakes up at the end of the movie, look at what part of his face is shown. You only see the "good" side of his face. Also, listen to the "open your eyes". Isn't it Carmen Diaz's voice? I think the whole thing is a dream from the beginning.

Cruise is an excellent actor, and has proved he is more than just another handsome face on the silver screen. His performances in Vanilla Sky and Minority report are light-years beyond "Days of Thunder" or "Top Gun".

On another note, Penelope Cruz is yummy, and that's good enough for me. :D

I got the coupon on Saturday, but posted the deal on Sunday. I think she is really hot in my opinion.
