I'm actually pulling electrical, data, catv, etc every night lately trying to get everything up to date. I will be using drywall. It's just so much easier to work with. Man that plaster was a mess to remove. I'll probably just go with a plain window frame and deal with the astestics when I reside. Money is becoming an issue lately.

I'd just get the cheaper windows. If you have a fully remodeled house, with new electrical, plumbing and everything else, I bet having a name brand window will be totally overlooked by potential buyers. You can probably halve the price of Pella or Andersen and still have nice windows in there.

By golly, you bit off quite a project there. I've been down the renovation road recently, and I'm in no hurry to try it again. Damn hard to make enough profit to be worthwhile. People think it's so easy... hah! If it's in move-in condition and clean, you're 90% there. Don't sweat the name brand stuff. Look at Comfortmaker and Goodman for your HVAC savings. Again, good luck!
