As far as software....it really does depend on what you're looking for. Some may argue that your local dormitory network is the best as you have hundreds of leechers using all sorts of programs usually leaving their ipc shares open. I personally believe that a quick overview of basic security would do wonders to staunch the flow of pirated media...but it seems unlikely.
