Maybe it's god's way of telling you to stop pissing outside during winter. ;)

I've experienced it, but never regularly. Honest to god, maybe a handful of times in my entire life. Pretty sure it's been years.

...you have penis cancer.

It happens to me almost every time I go while 1. standing up and 2. urinating for a good bit. Those two criteria seem to be the main trigger for me, and I think that it happens more often and stronger when the bathroom is comfortably warm. I know that I do this all the time at the urinal at work and i remember it being somewhat embarrassing at times, but I'll be able to legitimately discuss it now.

Are you sure it's a shiver and not a reaction for shaking it more then you should?

I get these all the time too. I once had a discussion with some friends about it while drinking, and a few who claimed to have experienced paranormal happenings likened the sensations.

Obviously our urethra's are haunted.

I don't feel 'cold' though. I do shiver but it is obviously a nerve impulse or something. No temperature sensation involved.

Those are dispatched to help restore or maintain blood pressure, Sheth says. But the microscopic energy bullets “may also trigger the shiver reflect.”
Yes....reflect.

Is that when the doctor makes your leg twitch by shining a bright laser at your knee? :sneaky:

I used to get them when I was younger. My 10-month-old daughter gets them all the time.

This happens to me often, I drink lots of water and coffee. According to the article, that would be a cause due to "voiding large amounts of urine"...

I've never discussed this with anyone...lol

I thought we figured this out already.

We shiver because large amount of piss leaves the body that's been warmed up to your body temp. Suddenly your body is like wtf, a big portion of my body heat just escaped in matter of seconds. So your body reacts to it?

I get them sitting down, but only when I've really NEEDED to go. No cold sensation, tho.

I find it happens after a long piss, especially when I'm bursting at the seams needing to pee badly.
