My wife does this sometimes. She'll drop peanuts into a bottle of coca-cola. I don't get it and had never heard of it before meeting her.

I remember it from when I was young but haven't seen anyone do it in years probably not since the glass bottle was the default container. I tried it a couple of times but preferred them separate.
