Define alternate resources?

If you mean something other then oil, then yes, oil production will peak.

Our rate of discovering new oil reserves has dropped. But, our rate of production from exisiting reserves is going up.
Oil will cease to be the most economic fuel shortly after production peaks. Only then will we really switch over to hydrogen, which is the next most economically feasible fuel.

I'd really like to believe you-can you post some source material that validates your post?

I hope so!

I'd like to see the 'brain trust' of this forum reply with a primary source quote. It's very strange that the women on this forum HAVE NOT replied to any of my 'energy resource' threads that I've created. What are you scared of ladies?

Hydrogen is not an energy source it is a mode of transporting energy. You need energy to get hydrogen in a usable form, it is basically a battery.

Yep, but that doesn't make his statement any more or less correct.

It just means that we had better get busy building nuclear power plants. ;)

Is that a reply to the EIA's projection of the emminate nature of peak oil?

You're a fine contributer to the thread-please post again. hehe

That's infantile Plickens-just as I expected from your soft intellect.

I've not seen one reply that posts evidence of the scientific refutaion of 'peak oil'.

I've not expected to read on from this forum in truth.

you fukin greenheads nevermind.....

Wow-enlightenment and transcendence from a 'bigbrain' member!

What do you mean by 'nevermind'? Are you implying that we shouldn't care bout our planet and the impace we have on it as a civilization or are you proposing that we live on a infinite ecological system that will provide our ever growing poplulation with food and energy?

The only way in which I could value you as a member of our society is if you were the hunted ;).
