Seriously though, I set the camera to ISO400, set the auto timer to ten seconds, lined it up, and let the camera sit on a ledge to take the picture.

Sure was a pain in the ass just to try to take clear pictures, but it worked. :eek:

ISO400 on a point and shoot camera will ALWAYS come out looking like crap. Trust me. I don't take anything over ISO 100 on my G3...when you start getting into the Digital Rebel...then ISO800 and the like is better...

Well yeah, it was dark as hell out, and I just wanted to play around and see how stuff would come out.

It's much more clear from sitting still than when I was holding it, but it still looks like crap :p

that high of an iso is too much for a small prosumer or point and shoot camera. The grain involved is just too much.

I can imagine. My gf has the camera so I can't even grab the images and see how they came out. :eek:

So what exactly is the deal with ISO anyways? From what I understand it's the shutter speed, and the higher the speed, the better it amplifys surrounding light? Or something like that....I'm shaky on this~
