PDF question

Is there a program that will make a pdf into some sort of executable file? Either for PC or MAC?

PDFs are documents, not programs. I don't think it's possible.

Bigsmooth is right, pdf's are not programs, so an executable file doesn't make much sense in this context. However, you can convert a pdf to an html file. Further information may be found here.

It would help if we knew what you planned to do with the file. If you merely want to view it without using Acrobat, you can easily convert it into an ASCII or html file (as referenced in the site linked above.)

if you want to maintain the PDF format, just zip it up and make it into an executable zip file, easy and compressed

Yeah i wanted to be able to view the pdf file without having to install acrobat. It was just a shot in the dark since i know there is a program available to do this with pictures.
