pdf file priniting problem

I've been trying to print a pdf file from Acrobat and the printer reads the information but no ink prints on the page. I've checked the print cartidges and printed some other stuff and everything else is fine. I just can't print this pdf file. My printer is an HP Deskjet 648C. If anyone can help me on this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
