PDA's on a Network

I was wondering if I could sign into a domain and use its resources with a PDA. The plan is to place a 802.11b router in the office, and have 3 PDA's access the network. I want them to receive email, and be able to update an excel spreadsheet from anywhere in the warehouse (open in-door space). But they must sign into the Domain to receive email from the exchange server, and to access the Excel form from a mapped drive. I have received conflicting information on this. I was looking at the Dell Axim X30 or Ipaq RX3115, and the network is an NT Domain.
