I just lost my beloved palm tungsten E2 and am thinking of getting a pda phone instead. I'm wondering which has the best functionality for my uses.

Biggest concerns:

I read TONS of books on my pda. screen size is a priority. Also, what about the different operating systems? I'm used to palm OS and have software to rip most book formats to read them on the palm. Only books i couldn't rip was MS's .lit.

I listen to podcasts constantly. Which phone's have the best memory capabilities, and mp3 support. I'd prolly prefer a sd card slot. Headphone jack is a must. I'd prefer it not be a huge fiasco to transfer files from computer to phone as I do that about 4-5 times a week.

I'd assume most of these phones are gonna be bluetooth. I didn't use the tungsten to surf the web much because it was pretty slow and mobile browsers suck, so WiFi capability isn't a must have.

The only reason i'm hesitant about getting another tungsten is that Palm seems to be phasing out pda's, and I don't want to buy another if the line is closing down soon.

A tungsten e2 is about 200$ new, I figure i will have to get a pda phone off of ebay or something to stay around that price range.

BlackBerry* 8300 has a pretty big screen, a 3.5mm headphone jack, takes mSDHC cards, has a USB connection for file transfer(Card appears as mass media to your comp), has bluetooth and dependant on carrier is available with WiFi.

*Other PDA phones are available. ;)
