PDA Screen Protectors Necessary?

12 of them for $17 - too much or sounds good? I definitely don't want to scratch the screen, but screen protectors does admittedly sound unnecessary.

i use 'em. 1 lasts me about..1-2 months. about 2 months really. haha the current one i have on, i've used for 3 months.

I think they're worth it, considering you won't accidently scratch your display, and it's like only $15-$20 for a year's supply

Na, I'm just talking about the screen - I don't tend to drop things. I'm worried about accidentally scratching the screen if I press too hard with the stylus.

For me, it wasn't dropping. First time it was me flying off my bike.. cracked the LCD. My current injury is a cracked touch screen from falling down the stairs. Dropping isn't the problem, it is falling.

i've been ok without them, but i'd get one for a PDA that doesn't have a cover/case (and for the treo i just bought). i have a sony clie nx-70v and it snaps shut, so i don't see it as absolutely necessary. i haven't noticed any significant scratches (if any at all) on my clie... so maybe it's a good investment, but i'm not so sure it makes much of a difference unless the PDA without a cover is unattended in your pocket or bag.

If you have a 99cents store near you, check it out. I got some Belkin ones for the Sony Clie for .99.

I buy the cheapos/discount ones when I can find them and then cut them down to size to fit my Axim.

Maybe I'm stingy, but I change mine perhaps once a year.
