Hi I've never owned a mobile (cell) phone but will need one shortly.
Here's the plan: could you tell me if it is along the right lines?
- Get an unlocked quad band PDA phone (thinking of the HTC tytn)
- Get a T-mobile pay as you go sim card on ebay in the USA (this network has service in the town I'll be at) (I think verizon doesn't use sim cards but its own proprietary system?)
- Get a pay as you go sim card for use in the UK
- Put the right one in depending on where I am.
This will work in both countries and in different states in the US will it?
