What are the pros and cons of getting a separate PDA and a separate cell phone as opposed to a PDA/cellphone? I was wondering what the battery life differences were, and the OS differences were. I need to get a PDA and have a cell phone through sprint, so I was wondering if I should just upgrade my phone to a SPrint PDA/cellphone. Can anyone tell me their experiences with this issue?
thanks.

the general concern is battery life.. you have to be pretty good about recharging it every night.

What I'd like is a cellphone that does GoodLink integration, so that it can be my Outlook client. Then, I could carry around one device instead of two.

The PocketPC Phone Editions usually have an older processor, less ram, and other disadvantages (such as dimmer screen and shorter PPC mode battery life) compared with full Pocket PC's such as the iPaq 2215. But on the Palm side, the Treo 600 looks pretty solid. Actually, what looks to be the most awesome PPC that's coming out soon is the Motorola MPx, but it costs an arm and a leg :Q
