i have a plan that includes long distance. but it doesn't explicitly say roaming so i have no roaming. i currently live in hawaii but am going to DC tomorrow. does anyone know how much it will cost to make calls? i think it was $0.50/min, can anyone confirm?

ROFL!! Man, you're ... well, let's just leave that one alone for right now. Even in the SAME COMPANY, prices per minute can vary depending on what plan you're on. First of all, you didn't list what company you're on. Second of all, you didn't say what plan you're exactly on. Why don't you CALL YOUR FREAKING CARRIER AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF.

Is it Sprint PCS? If so then umm there is Sprint service in Washington DC. If you have the nationwide plan then you use your phone as you normally do.
