I need a better wireless card. The one I'm using can barely get a signal in the living room from the bedroom. Any recommendations?

anything using the classic lucent orinoco gold chipset is a solid card and should perform very well.

Believe it or not the Microsoft cards are awesome..

I have used the B and the G. Get excellent speed and signal strength..

I believe they are also the cheapest..

change the position of your router.. i used to get a weakend signal at our old apartment.. in my room.

Anycase - i like netgear.. dlink and linksys are fine too. Vanny's linksys seems to connect farther than my netgear..

The best PCMCIA card I've ever used is the Cisco Aironet 350. But the Lucent/Orinoco gold/silvers work great too.

Agreed.

I have the Dell TrueMobile 1150 (802.11b) which is a rebadged Orinoco PCMCIA 802.11b card, it's simply awesome.

Yep. I replaced my PCMCIA card 3 times before realizing it was my router that sucked.

What cards are you trying and what router/AP?
