Yet another reason the pcmark2004 is a terrible comparison benchmark....
The Divx application runs on the divx codec you have installed in your system....On the P4 I have 5.10 codec and thus my divx time is 70fps which comparing to others is quite high...Howvere on the AMD system I installed and old divx codec pack tha only had 5.02pro ersion and thus though the barton scored lower in every category as others have shown the divx encoding was a whopping 146fps!!!! Yes ppl 5.10 codec is much more thorough of a tester and when ppl shifted to 5.05 and above the times have actually increased and just recently started going down again....
Never ceases to amaze me...They should have had standard codec in there and had it not run on the codec in the system...The wmv9 file so far is fine as it is the latest and greatest available and the requirement....
