hey guys i just got my system parts today will be putign it together on friday what score should i get with
a Pentium 4 640 3.2ghz 2mbL2 cache
6600gt
1gb ddr2 533 ram
2 250gb samsung 7200rpm hard drvies
an asus p5ld2 deluxe board

I will guess at 3.2ghz based on what Technonut has above, you will likely get 3500-3600 ....maybe less but I dont know exactly the factor the vid card plays in it....
 
Hard to tell, but I would guess 3600-3800 at stock speeds with a 6600GT.

Technonuts badass 640 running 4.4ghz on phase and and XL850 is 5451
 
thanks for the input i will post my score friday night also will i get the full test scored with only the free downlaod verison or do i have to buy it to get the full score

Nice OC, dude. Interesting rig, especially the ABIT and the Lian-Li.
 
boy, the x2's dominate this with the multi threaded tests. i noticed too, like GD said, an good card, especially oc'd, will make a good difference. not worth taking off stock for a bench though.

Damn that seems a bit low. oh well.
 

I use PCMARK as a quick reference for different overclocked settings and as just a basic comparison to other people's systems. I do not use it to see which brand of processor is better.

4756 This is the FX55, mildly overclocked

2434 This is the 4600+ X2 with an x800 XL 512MB. I have the same score problem, having something to do with the HD scores.

I've seen no resolution to it yet, either..it's quite frustrating.

is your gtx running 1400 memory? it smokes my card in memory, although i edge you with 4826 i think overall.
 
Got a 4950 with my x2 at 2.475ghz. Originaly I was getting really low scores, of like 1200, and it was reporting my hard drive scores really really low. I updated to the latest nForce drivers, and now it's working normaly. I was getting the same problem running HDtach as well, it was reporting my burst rate at .003mb/s, now it reports it at 175mb/s.
 
I got 3470 but my HDD score is 0.003mb....so that is obviously holding me back....


I have latest nfoce chipset drivers installed....

Hdd scores look right to me... ATTO bench for c:/

Looks like another fine program from the losers at futuremark...
