I'm a bit confused about the 750 score. I used to get around 800 on my older WD400 now im getting mid 700s on a WD1200JB...? Perhaps the testing on the older one was done on the outter edge of the dist as my new drive is being tested on the inner? On a RAID0 of the WD400 and a Maxtor D740X-6L i was getting near 1200. NF 3.13 and ATA 133 enabled.

Anyone have any tips?

That's what I don't like about benchmarks, why having a higher fps should do anything to your hardrive score is unknown to me. But my system is the same:

1.8ghz at 333mhz score was
4889
4604
697

at 2300mhz at 200fsb
7058
5743
1092

and try a defrag before the test.

Damn.. I miss my old 1200+ HD scores. I really do think PC Mark tests wherever the drive has free-space. Kind of lame. Nice scores. :D

PCMark scores are pretty worthless. But here are some for comparison anyway :D Stock XP2500's are soooooo slow. Even at stock speeds a 2400 is faster in EVERYTHING I used them for.

XP2500 (210x11) + nForce2
CPU: 7078 Mem: 6267 HDD: 1004

XP2500 (stock) + nForce2
CPU: 5672 Mem: 5229 HDD: 1017

XP2400 (166x12.5) + kt333
CPU: 6195 Mem: 3970 HDD: 650

XP2400 (stock) + kt333
CPU: 5783 Mem: 4335 HDD: 529

XP2200 (stock) + kt333
CPU: 5115 Mem: 3259 HDD: 784

P4 2.4C@3.5GHZ (292FSB) 3:2 CAS 2,7,3,3

CPU = 8789
MEM = 10377
HDD = 1351

I have a WD raptor as well, but I don't trust this program anyways...
