PCIe video card

I am a budget gamer for sure, but why don't more people buy the 115 dollar X800 GTO?

I mean, the sucker is dirt cheap, has 12 pipelines, and has a decent core of 400MHz, which could be OCed with a vga cooler...

Also, what is the real difference between the above video card and this, I mean 128 MB of RAM can't change that much for a budget video card.

This card will mean I will need to get a 939 mobo with PCIe, 939 processor, as I am still using a 2500+ Barton system with a 9600XT.

Umm I think right now they are selling GTO2 at newegg on sale for 175 and IMO its worth the extra money because people are reporting that they are getting 16 pipes right out of the box and you can OC to match speed of 850's

QFT!

the first one has GDDR2, and only 128mb of it....
the second card you mentioned has GDDR3, 256mb of it..

I believe GDDR3 runs cooler, and can be clocked higher
