PCI-X is NOT PCI-Express

I've seen way too many people assume that PCI-x and PCI-Express are the same thing. I made this mistake, good thing someone corrected me before I did anything stupid.

PCI-X is for servers (and Apple G5s)

PCI-Express is a faster PCI-bus for personal computers

Duh someone stupid enough to not know PCI-E is not PCI-X. Wouldn't be building they buy prebuilt.

Ive been out of the building scene for awhile and I would have assumed incorrectly. Not everyone spends every waking minute reading about hardware.

My computer has both (PCI-E and PCI-X) and is not a server.

PCI-X is found on most workstations as well.
