Currently have a VoodooTV 200 and a Pinnacle Studio TV Video Capture Card, i have original voodoo software but nothing with the pinnacle. I got a few questions for ya.

Is the voodoo software compatible with the pinnacle?
What software is available for recording tv, looking for timeshifting?
Which card actually provides better quality, is more responsive to changing channels?
What kind of typical problems are found with each card, i know there's a lack of win2k support for the voodoo, anythign more than that?

Thanks in advance.
The reason why i dont try any of this out myself is that i fried my motherboard and am using my dad's computer right now. reminder to unplug computer when playing around with your waterblock, and to tighten those damn clamps better.

It really depends on the decoder chip used by the hardware, if the Voodoo and the Pinnacle uses the same chip then it's possible that the drivers could work for both I think a stand alone PCI capture card will be better than the Voodoo card however. As for specific functions and featuures, you just have to try them.
