To all those that got the tuner cards .. They are on sale now for 11.99 are they worth it? Are you generally happy with your cards?
 
Watch out, tv tuner might not be WinXp compatible. I have an older STB/3dfx bt878 based tv tuner and it was hell just getting it to work in windows xp, but it worked.
 
for generic bt878 driver, go get Btwincap

It is the best generic driver for winxp/2k system with bt878 chipset. I have been using it for a while, and there is really no reason to use manufacturer's less optimized/ outdated driver if the card is just generic bt8x8 design.

This will work with the cheap card posted above and should be the best driver available besides dscaler. However, a little basic reading and installation skill is needed to get the driver installed right. So, if you find it hard to install seperate driver, tweaking hardware with driver or need help in simple software installation, this card and driver is simply not for you.
