PCI.SYS BSOD Upon XP Pro installation

just got a new mb: EP45-UD3R

i'm doing a new install of XP and upon installation (within 5-10 minutes), before even formatting and choosing a partition to install in, i get a BSOD: PCI.SYS.
i'm trying to install XP Pro 32. i've used the same cd over 20 times with no problems so i know its not the cd/dvd drive problem.

i've also tested my ram each stick at a time for 24 hours each. no errors.
my bios is the latest (f8, for those of you guys keeping up w/ GBT's bios's)

What are some common solutions to PCI.SYS BSOD?

looks like it may be a problem with my install disc and this MB: my install disc is only equipped with SP1.

i'm trying a slipstreamed version of XP Pro w/ Sp2 now.

If you read the board's manual under driver installation you will find it requires XP+SP2 my friend.

Try downloading XP with SP3 integrated instead....
