PCI Latency timer

Here are the results of my test in UT:

16 PCI latency;
3178 frames in 75.79 min 23.80 max 71.86 avg 41.92

32 PCI latency;
3180 frames in 75.68 min 24.30 max 70.16 avg 42.01

64 PCI latency;
3178 frames in 75.44 min 24.42 max 71.60 avg 42.12

128 PCI latency;
3178 frames in 75.78 min 23.74 max 71.51 avg 41.93

Athlon 550 (650 core @750mhz with L2 at 1/2 speed), 320mb pc100, 32mb gf2 gts, asus K7V

From this I would think that there was absolutely no relevant difference over a factor of 8 change. I did not test any intermediate values (It is adjustable from 0 or 1-255 or 256 (dont remember) in increments of 1

What resolution are you playing at? Perhaps you need to try a less video bound benchmark... Q3 would probably be better at revealing performance differences like that.

UT is very CPU limited. That was at 1024x768. Maybe I'll give it another go later today though at lower resolution.
