Please use the search function; there have been numerous topics about PCI-Express (PCI-E) in the last few months. Essentially, it's replacing both AGP and PCI in the near future.

PCI Express is a replacement for both AGP and PCI. It's fastest implementation, PCI Express x16 (aka PEG, or PCI Express for Graphics), offers four times greater theoretical bandwidth than AGP 8x.
